On the way to get my wife

In the season of dying
It happened by chance
The Monarch was flying.
Or was it a dance?

It might have begun
A Spring ago
When the cocoon was spun
And started to grow.

This metamorphic miracle
With Mother’s laws and loyalty
Reminds that life is spherical
To all including royalty.

While princes, knights, queens and kings
May be very strong and able.
Pinned on my winshield by the wings
Make them specimens on a table.

sneakers and neckties

Once,
Before deadlines and sneakers and neckties.
We set our own paces.
We walked places.
We watched skies.
 And,
Before "do this" and "do that" and "I want it tomorow".
We took care of ourselves.
We'd barter.
We'd borrow.
 Now,
We push and rush and grab for the dollar to buy bigger cars bigger houses that are smaller than the guy's next door whose grass is always greener.
More money isn't better.
It's just making us meaner.
If, We could just slow down.
Take time to look around.
Write poetry to share.
Tell others we care.
Then,
We might possibly see
How happy we'd be.

y generation

Y, the quantity unknown to most.
Dual to X, the designated host.
Secondary importance, never first.
Destined to roam, unquenchable thirst.

Y, the axis from bottom to top.
Spotted midway, rising to stop.
Forever it reaches to points unseen.
What good is an axis stuck at the mean?

Y, the generation shaded by a boom.
What's left for us at the end of gloom?
Our hopes and dreams, uncommon you see.
Want to be vagrants with a degree.

they will follow

Blindly, like sheep they are hearded along.
Unknowing, they leap only to belong.
Feeding the mutton, on grain they graze.
Breeding the glutton, purer grain - they haze.
With a non-sense of one alone, just prey
Their wool to be spun for others one day.
Pledging their self renting a friend.
Without the wealth it starts to end.
